Pushing the Limits at Nissan Tram Face Squaw Valley USA
The third stage of the Freeride World Tour was held today Monday on the Silverado venue in Squaw Valley USA. With its playful terrain the riders put up a great show for the hundreds of cheering locals, pushing the limits with a ‘best of two runs’ format. The high point of the day was the women stepping up the game with a great level of riding, taking the same big cliff jumps as the men and creative line choices. Local Squaw Valley skier and Freeride World Tour wild card Jaclyn Paaso was without a doubt the biggest crowd pleaser. She took a massive cliff jump at the bottom of the face, faster and higher than most of the men, challenging them for the second heat. More

Results after first run!
Riders are having a lot of fun riding the Silverado face with lots of features thus many opportunities for interesting jumps and tricks. The two most impressive runs thus far: Kaj Zackrisson with a 360, then spread eagle and massive jump; Jaclyn Paaso, local rider, with a cliff jump bigger than any of the men! Shannan Yates won the North Face Masters Series, a snowboard Freeride Qualifier, Sunday and has made it to Squaw Valley USA just in time for the Nissan Tram Face. She will be competing with bib number 41! More

The competition has been confirmed for Monday morning on the Silverado face - first start 8:00. The riders will do 2 runs and the best score counts; the second run will be in reverse bib orderwith men still riding first due to time constraints. More

FWQ: Nissan El Dorado Freeride 2010 Highlights
The 13th edition of the Nissan El Dorado Freeride (EDF) took place last weekend in the Arcalis sector of Vallnord (Andorra). El Dorado is the main extreme competition in the South of Europe and the first freeride competition of the Pyrenees that has been selected by the Freeride World Tour (FWT) as a Freeride World Qualifier event (FWQ). EDF was born in 1998 when some Riders contended the first extreme competition of ski and snowboard ever held in the Pyrenees.
